Today is the day we start our Alaskan adventure.    Oystein is our Norwegian gnome and will be our mascot throughout the trip.

It is about 1:00 PM and we are leaving Elmhurst with hopes of reaching the LaCrosse, WI area to spend our first night at Perrot State Park.
